Yeah that has happened to me alot but not as much as it used to. But it was even more strange when it was the other way around while i was in Honduras and not being able to speak English the whole time. Its like here I have a pretty good balance of English and Spanish ( about 50/50) but when I was there I just wanted to say something in English but I couldn't. It was so weird because I can speak spanish fluently and people often ask me the same about where are you from or where are your parents from but I was beginning to miss English a little and when I was talking to my parents over the phone I felt like I was speaking with a spanish accent and that English sounded weird. I wonder how it would be if I was living down there, I would definetly have to blog or find an american friend to speak English with!~
I get you on this one. When Carlos is at home - we are some Spanglish speaking fools.
Sometimes I have to stop myself from speaking Spanglish rather than Spanish when I am speaking proper Spanish to my suegra.
He gripes that I don't speak enough English and that he isn't learning enough because of our Spanglish problem.
